"Commissioned by
                Companhia de Dança de Matosinhos
to create the set design of their educational
programme inaugural piece, "Uma Bailarina Espe(ta)cular",
                Moradavaga teamed up
with stage director Manuel Tur and dancer Sara Silva to develop a scenographic
device that would illustrate, together with the performance itself,
the story written by Regina Guimarães.

Inspired by the narrative of the grandfather that builds a dollhouse
for his beloved granddaughter, an aspiring ballerina, that somehow keeps her "trapped"
while growing up, we imagined a kind of big case reminiscent of the vintage steamer trunks
that people used to take in long transatlantic journeys, with all their foldable and collapsible
elements, a kind of tiny box-house on wheels that could assume different configurations
and layouts throughout the show to support all the different moments in the dramaturgy,
thus metaphorically acting as a gadget-like-multifunctional-suitcase that accompanies Anita
                in her life's journey."
